Most of the work you see on this site was painted entirely outdoors, en plein air. Since the sun waits for no one, plein air pieces tend to be relatively small (8 x 10 to 18 x 24 inches). Larger works are created in the studio, using my outdoor work as reference.
A red dot indicates the piece has been sold, but new, custom paintings of these and other scenes may be commissioned.

Hallelujah!, 18 x 24 oil on canvas
This scene depicts the Minneapolis Southwest High School holiday music program at the Basilica of St. Mary in downtown Minneapolis. For the finale, all the performers—plus anyone else who's itching to sing—gathers on and around the altar/stage to sing Handel's Hallelujah chorus.
