Painted on Lake Mille Lacs near Garrison, Minnesota. This painting won first place at the Jaques Art Center plein air event in Aitkin, Minnesota, July 2007.

In this area, shallow water necessitates long docks. The launch is a pontoon-style boat that walleye "hunters" charter to fish this popular lake.
