About the paintings


Thank you for taking time to look through my work. If you're in the Minneapolis area, I encourage you to visit my studio where you can see many of these paintings, and more, in person.

I do most of my work on location, directly from nature (or pavement, as the case may be). Others are studio paintings, which are painted indoors using plein air studies, photographs, and memory for reference.

The work is available for sale unless it's marked "sold" or is displayed in the archive, which is a sampling of paintings that have sold over the years. (We still like to look at them from time to time, so we thought you might too!) Larger canvases of plein air pieces, including those in the archive, may be commissioned at custom sizes.
