Are you one of those art connoisseurs who finds labels instructive? Here are a few, loosely applied:
My paintings are impressionistic in that I use paint to describe the weather, light, and atmosphere of a particular moment and place — like those French guys 150 years ago except I have a car.
My paintings are realistic. I like accurate draftsmanship and painting the world I see. I'm also a contemporary human being painting my 21st century world, so...
I'm a contemporary artist. I design pictures using a visual language acquired over my years as an art director and as an everyday consumer of media.
Most of what you see is painted directly from nature (or pavement, as the case may be). Others are studio pieces that are done indoors using plein air studies, photographs, and memory for reference.
